Woodhall Lane

Dear All,

Woodhall Lane Development - Consultation

This is a message from Toad regarding a public consultation for the Woodhall lane site by the site developers running from October 21st to 4th November 2020.

Some residents of the parish (380 homes in the north of Ombersley) have received notification by letter of a public virtual consultation on behalf of Spitfire Homes regarding development on the Woodhall Lane site, and a few homes directly affected have apparently been offered one to one consultations.

Separate from the NDP

We just wanted to point out that this is an entirely separate public consultation to the one currently in progress regarding the draft Neighbourhood Development Plan. We also felt it important that everyone in the parish of Ombersley and Doverdale be given the opportunity to submit comments to Spitfire Homes.

The link is : https://spitfire-ombersley.consultationonline.co.uk

Please visit the virtual exhibition and submit your comments. For those without internet access please call 0800 298 7040 and the Spitfire project team will post the details out.

Summary

  1. 45 homes instead of the 25 indicated in the SWDP allocation
  2. 4 x 1 bedroom
  3. 15 x 2 bedrooms
  4. 18 x 3 bedrooms
  5. 8 x 4 bedrooms
  6. 16 affordable homes (75% for renting / 25% shared ownership)
  7. 40% of the site is green space

Meantime we are still welcoming your comments on the draft for our TOAD Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Sue CollierThank you for your interest whilst you stay safe and well.

With kind regards

Calling all Volunteers

If you feel that you would like to help, we need volunteers. The Parish Council cannot do this by themselves.  We need help with planning, communications, secretarial support, data analysis, IT and graphic design, and we will need help for manning drop-ins, coffee mornings, leaflet posting, photography and so on.

Everyone welcome!
