The government is looking for development opportunities and Ombersley and Doverdale parish is right in their sights. We can influence what happens by saying what we would like in a Neighbourhood Plan. TOAD is an initiative by the parish council to create our own Neighbourhood Plan.
The results of the referendum have been published. The work of the Toad Team is now done so it is time to thank everyone who has been involved and say good bye. Take a look at the update to see more.
To make it all happen we are working through our plan. Part of the process is to bring in professional help and we have appointed David Nicholson of DJN Planning to assist. We are always looking for people to help turn it into reality so if you would like to be involved please get in touch.
The Parish council operates as a non-political volunteer body. The TOAD neighbourhood development plan is a Parish council initiative supported by a team of volunteer local residents, and their work is also politically neutral. The only opinions influencing the draft plan are yours.
If you feel that you would like to help, we need volunteers. The Parish Council cannot do this by themselves. We need help with planning, communications, secretarial support, data analysis, IT and graphic design, and we will need help for manning drop-ins, coffee mornings, leaflet posting, photography and so on.
Everyone welcome!
